Bernard creates modern paintings, on canvas, for contemporary environments with the skills and inspiration of a lifetime in Art. Bernard is a former member of the Museum of Modern Art in New York now living in Cheshire and has exhibited professionally in galleries in London, Paris, Lille, Amsterdam, Frankfurt and New York.

The work concentrates on Scenic, Figure & Abstract, all modern and forward thinking in style & technique, each one an individual, with a distinct reason for its creation.

Bernard lists Monet, Matisse, Van Goch, Renoir & Rothko as some of the artists who have influenced his own distinctive, and in turn influential, style. Above all there is a belief that Modern Art should be beautiful !

A successful solo exhibition of Bernard’s work was held at Shell U.K. Headquarters in Cental London throughout November & December 2003.
