Jo Deas

Jo began her art career as a graphic designer. She has spent the past four years working from her studio in Wilmslow creating (and selling) artworks that combine her graphic and illustration skills to produce contemporary collages and abstract images.

Jo uses a range of media including oil paint, inks, charcoal, paper and plaster of Paris. She has developed an abstract style using layers of paint and collage to create rich colours, textures and patterns that perfectly suit the modern interior. Working closely with clients Jo has produced a number of bespoke pieces of work to complement office spaces and living areas in contemporary homes.

Jo’s latest works include plaster of Paris typography moulded from original wooden letterpress and then layered with silver and gold foil, oils, gouache and pastels to create relief works of intricate detail.
