Lucy studied illustration and graphic design at Staffordshire University, and then went on to have a career as a puppet animator working for the award winning animation company Cosgrove Hall Films, in Manchester.

During this time Lucy animated on programmes such as Andy Pandy, Postman Pat and Little Robots. Over the last ten years Lucy has developed her unique printmaking style incorporating etching, screen printing and other tecniques.

Her work conveys the love she has for all living creatures, and captures the unique personalities and humour she sees in them.
