My work examines the relationship between form and colour and is inspired by stimuli as diverse as the view from the studio to a simple bunch of supermarket flowers. Always pushing forward, I paint obsessively, every day, and am as concerned with the process of painting as much as with the finished work.

I began painting by accident, literally. I was hit by a car and my career as a press photographer ended and what started out as a hobby has morphed into a success story, with sell-out solo shows, media coverage, and shortlisting for the John Moores 2010 Painting Prize.
